Kept ("the App") respects and protects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we safeguard it. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: the email address you provide when signing up, used for logging in, password recovery, and account management.
• Items you add: item names, categories, status, photographs, and notes. This data is stored locally on your device. Photographs remain on your device.
• The App does not collect your contacts, location, or device identifiers for tracking purposes, and does not use your data for advertising.

2. How we use information

• To provide core features: home inventory, idle-item reminders, and decluttering suggestions.
• AI features: when you use AI features such as the daily "Butler" brief or photo recognition, the relevant item text (or image) is forwarded through our server to third-party AI services (DeepSeek and Anthropic) in order to generate a result. This content is used solely to produce the immediate result and for no other purpose.

3. Storage and third-party services

• Account and authentication services are provided by Supabase.
• Email delivery (verification codes, password recovery) is provided by Resend.
• AI processing is provided by DeepSeek and Anthropic. Please note that these providers may process data on servers located outside your country.
• Data is transmitted over HTTPS, and we take reasonable measures to protect it.

4. Information sharing

Other than the service providers listed above, which are necessary to deliver the App's features, we do not sell or share your personal information with any third party.

5. Your rights

• Access & export: you may view and export your item data within the App.
• Delete your account: go to Me → Account → Delete account in the App and confirm. Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately — no email or request is required. This cannot be undone.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.

7. Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time; any changes will be published on this page. Significant changes will be notified in the App.
